British Cream Tea: Delicious British Felt Food Sculpture

Miniature food...

A couple of weeks a fellow artist asked me to make some miniature felt food for a project, all less than 1 inch long. I have never made anything that tiny before but it sounded fun and a good challenge so I couldn't resist! We agreed on a piece of asparagus, a sweetie, a banana, a bottle of wine, a strawberry, an ice cream cone, a lettuce and a radish...

I think they are just adorable! I may have to make some for myself and they would make wonderful badges or something else...

I love that commissions often force me to look differently at my work and try something I would never have thought of or dared or had time to try before.
